I recently staying at Loews Hotel in Santa Monica and found it to be a fantastic getaway. The views of the Pacific Ocean were stunning, especially during sunset from my room with a private outdoor gas fireplace. However, I was a bit surprised to find that the restaurant only served breakfast and lunch, meaning I had to rely on room service or venture out for dinner, which didn't quite meet my expectations for a hotel of this caliber.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Regent Santa Monica Beach. The location is fantastic, as it's close to the Santa Monica Pier and lots of great dining options. My room was spacious and beautifully decorated with a lovely balcony offering ocean views. However, I did encounter some noise issues from adjoining rooms and the lobby was a bit cold, making it uncomfortable to dine in there. Overall, I'd definitely come back due to the family-friendly atmosphere and attentive service.
